It's a proper hospital...was watching a program on the BBC yesterday where this guy suffered from quite marked tremors. He had a two-hour beam therapy session, came out as good as new, look it up on the BBC. How could beam therapy work for t or not work for it and why? (apologies for my lack of scientific knowledge in the field)

Its like proton therapy used in cancer treatments, which targets cancer tumors. Not sure how the application works with T. But, if it works; that GREAT!

Almost all the patients reported reduced tinnitus annoyance after the three-month treatment. The THI and VAS scores showed decreased tinnitus severity. The rs-fMRI results indicated that the right middle frontal gyrus and the right superior temporal gyrus displayed noticeable decreases of the ReHo values for the subjects between the before and after treatment, supporting the clinical evidence of significant tinnitus reduction.

No control group so we don't learn anything about how effective the treatment was.

It does have the signs of a dodgy Chinese study.

hey guys, it's a start. I am sure the next study will have a larger sample size and hopefully also a control group. Let's just welcome one more (hopefully successful) player in the field.
