      Hello everyone!

Just wanted to say Hi to all the wonderful people here on TT. I have been dealing with tinnitus for years now and it’s a roller coaster for me. Most of the time I can ignore the moderate ringing in my head, but during times of anxiety/stress it likes to really get my attention. Anyways I have been reading many good posts on here for weeks now since my T has ramped up. It can be hard sometimes, but I know I’m not alone.

Do you take anything to settle your Anxiety? Or do you just wing it? If you can control anxiety you'd be better off. I believe it is the root of making T worse? But that's my thought.

Hi @MBH yes I am on zoloft (daily) and Ativan (as needed). Also, I am seeing a cbt therapist. I had a very stressful event happen in February that made the tinnitus much louder. Before it was a mild tone that I can easily habituate to. Now it’s a loud high pitch tone. I have H too. I found that a good night sleep helps and to remain calm, but it can be tough at times. I feel like I’m starting to get back on track with my life now. The help here from TT has been amazing.
