I developed tinnitus last year and recently I’ve been feeling depressed and anxious because of it.

I understand a lot of people have gone through a stage like that, too, and I’m just wondering — how did you deal with it? Does it get easier?

Yes, it gets easier as your mind learns to tune the tinnitus out, and the anxiety and depression about it will lift as well.

All you can do is try to ride it out. Eventually, your reaction upon hearing T should become less intense than it is now...

As you get to know your tinnitus sound or sounds and what spikes it,learn to cope through spikes and sleeping ok it will help your mood as you understand about tinnitus going through your own tinnitus journey.
