      All,

Just now that I am starting to habituate from the initial hissing and tone in my head... and found the courage to accept that life goes on...

... I am starting to realise that I have real difficulty understanding people in loud environments.

I had problems with this as long as I can remember... it just seems much worse since my noise-induced tinnitus.

In general... hearing frequency is still around average but discriminatory hearing - that’s what it’s called right ? - is terrible.

What should I do to find out the possible damage? Are there tests for this? Any solutions?

Anyone else have experience with this type of hearing loss with or without tinnitus?

      Thanks!
      Kenny

Kenny I think this is a rather normal experience especially with tinnitus. In a room full of people talking it is so hard to understand normal conversations. With tinnitus I experience spiking in this situation. Sometimes I just have to excuse myself and leave. That is my solution.
