Am I megalophobic? But I don´t experience this kind of "fear" with other large things. It happens specially at night, usually with self-supported structures. Sun light make the towers appear more friendly.

Maybe it´s not about cancer. They seem unstable and I prefer to stay away if I can.

      Weird post, I know.

Hahaha, they are structurally sound. They aren't going to fall on you. They are worth too much to not erect properly. I'd be more worried about the fact that they are huge microwave ovens. Microwave ovens are operating at 2.4 Ghz and are limited to 5 milliwatts of microwave radiation per cm^2. These new 5G towers are way beyond that power level.

Haha! We don't have 5G in Argentina, just the regular 3G or 4G towers. The radiation used to worry me but I have noticed that the structure is threatening. It´s a primitive "gut feeling" or some psychoanalytic thing. They have phallic forms. :D

There's a higher risk of cancer around the antennas although of course phone companies will never recognise this.

Research 5G. It's apparently going to be really harmful. No one cares though.

I totally get you! I have a fear of man made objects in water like oil rigs.

The sheer size is unnerving. The same as wind turbines!

I always say things like that make me so uncomfortable haha.

I knew a man who had a pacemaker put in his heart and while out hunting with a friend they stopped under the power lines. He had to run down the road to get away from the electric which had set the pacemaker off. Scary shite.

Bloody hell! That's scary! Poor bloke. See, I knew I didn't like power cables for a reason. ;)
