Hello! Im 6 months in with T and just when i thought I was getting habituated i got a cold about a week ago (nose /head congestion) and my T has been louder AND in both ears now (used to be right ear only) this pretty common? Should i expect it ro spike every time i get a cold from now on? Thanks and i hope this will quiet down soon for me !

probably. yes, don't worry about a plain old cold. most likely just the congestion making you spike.

Thanks!!! Yeah it feels like feeling better not congested anymore although my left ear feels a bit "muffled" and "full" and thats where T is worse now....its just frustrating when i was finally feeling "good" about T and moving on now im like great bot ears now and louder!!! But i will keep positive and hopefully will quiet down soon :)

Music and recently a simple cold made things really worse
Normally not, but after my last cold I have new tones in my tinnitus, but then I have had a pretty good sinusitis lately, it's kind of worrying me, because for the first time it's causing me problems to sleep, but I think I'm a rather isolated case, so most probably yours will fade away.
