Has anyone ever Skyped with Dr Hubbard for CBT?
If so how did it go?
I haven't Skyped with him - but I've spent many hours face-to-face with him "talking tinnitus." And if I were a tinnitus sufferer interested in CBT, I'd rather Skype with @Dr. Hubbard long distance than see somebody else for CBT locally. ANYbody else. He's that sharp and that knowledgeable.
Dr. Stephen Nagler
Thanks for your reply.
I'm trying to get a handle on my tinnitus that goes from completely quiet for high frequencies one day to mild start the next day that turns into screaming loud by evening.
The next day after that it slowly settles back down...usually.
He is great to talk to. Very sharp and a good listener.
This is just a quick comment for dr. Nagler. I spoke to you about ten years ago on the phone about my tinnitus which had completely disabled me. You talked about trt, calming the nervous sytem down, habituation and I thought you were crazy. Well all those things you talked about I practiced and now tinnitus is a non issue in my life. I don't even hear it unless I listen.....Listen to dr nagler, he's good knowledgable, and has that rare characteristic of really wanting to help people...Dr. Nagler.....Bravo.
That's good to hear but can you tell us what did you do to get to that stage of full recovery?
Please let us know what did you practice?
Even an outline would be helpful!
Did you just talk on phone or have in person sessions?
