I have read about people getting their wax cleaned up and how the tiny hairs came out with it and how that is dangerous because those hairs protect the ear.

Well lately my right ear canal has been itchy, and when I itch it I noticed I have small hairs on my finger afterwards. Should I be worried?

Trust me, those hairs are waaayyyy too far inside your head to come out with wax removal.
      Like Champ said, don't worry.

Hey Demi, no worries. No one on this board should ever hesitate to ask about anything that is worrying them. As they say, there is no such thing a a stupid question.

Which by the way (said gently and respectfully): We shouldn't scoff at other people's questions. What may sound silly to us may be bothering them greatly. We don't want to be like those doctors we despise, who blow us off. This should be a place where anyone can ask anything.
