If you go you should sit away from the speakers, i am going to an arena show in November and i booked seats just over halfway to the back.

Was it in a small or large venue?

I experienced my eardrum trembling because of the noise in both small and big venues. I saw a lot of concerts actually, most of the bands I saw were Hardrock, Heavy metal bands and some of them liked to play very loud (I guess you also have these kind of bands in pop music though ^^)

But the night I got my T was in a small venue. I believe that big venues such as stadiums can be as dangerous as small ones though.

I never experienced any trembling. Anyhow I will report how it goes.

To see Nightwish in Paris in November, long way off yet. I have seen them before in an arena here in London after I got a tinnitus and it was fine.

Metallica might be a little much, as others have said bone conduction will defeat even the best hearing protection. I'd play it safe and skip the concert, I know it kind of sucks, but that last thing you want is to regret attending that concert for the rest of your life. Live music at a wedding or something is one thing, but Metallica turning it up to 11 is probably too much.

Except that it's not always the band that decides the volume. Tbh, I think Tomorrowland is more dangerous than a concert for instance.

A band as big as Metallica probably calls all the shots when it comes to the audio setup, things could get extremely loud. Just looking after a fellow T sufferer.

Sure, but a lot of countries have dB limits (tho still too high.)
