      Hi!

      As described in title, I'm scared to take Tramadol for pain. I have some bad autoimmune disease, and it gives me a lot of pain. I mean A LOT :(

      My doctor said to take Tramadol in the bad moments, but I know that for some people it could make their tinnitus up to 10/10 level. I'm very scared, and there is not other med that can help me right now.

      Is Tramadol really that bad? There isn't other way for now, as long as we don't find proper treatment.

      I also can't take less toxic or weaker painkiller, because it will do nothing for this kind of pain then. It's the only option...

      My doctor advised me to take the risk which is really really low, because I can develop a phantom pain if I will have pain for 24/7 and then it's gonna be harder or even impossible to cure. But I don't want to do something stupid and make my tinnitus worse to unbearable level...

      Is Tramadol really that bad?

      Tinnitus sucks, and complicating everything...

      It is going be trial and error to see how you get on.
      I was fine on them but hard to come off .
      Maybe give them a try when you really need them .
      Love glynis

      @Snake

      I just read your post on Tramadol, I wanted to ask you about your pain, and how taking the Tramadol worked out for you, I may need to go on some kind of pain medication so I'm kind of in the same boat that you were in last month.

      Can you please tell me more about your case, I don't know anything about pain caused from am autoimmune disease ? My pain is nerve pain, but it could end up chronic like neuropathy, so I'm looking into some kind od pain medication that will help with he pain but won't effect my ears.

      Thank You
