      Tinnitus Since:
      11-13-2016
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      acute acoustic trauma
Yesterday, I had a huge spike in my tinnitus on the left, and now I am hearing a different frequency in that ear.

Basically, when I listen to 2000 Hertz in my left ear, it sounds like a different tone (like 2500 Hertz). My right ear is hearing it correctly at 2000 Hertz.

Has anyone had this happen? Is this all part of the tinnitus spike or did I lose more hearing at 2 kHz in my left ear?
