Does anyone else hear hearing test like beeps in their tinnitus?

I mostly only hear it if it's quiet, but before it wouldn't happen as often. These beeps I've had have turned into a hearing test if I am somewhere quiet. It is just so curious (and horrendous) that it sounds like this with beeps of different frequencies that last only about a second or two, but then another one starts just a second or two after it.

Am I the only one with this?

My impression is that this is a good sign, fluctuations as opposed to a pure unchanging tone.

Be super mindful of your diet and protect your ears...
I am optimistic you are recovering...

I like your optimism Daniel. I was also thinking this could be the same, my wife also was telling me so. Only thing is these beeps weren't as often before. It's just really ugly sounds when I do hear it. When I'm out and about I only hear the steady ring but in my room if I don't have my sound machine on, that's where I hear it. I hope it is healing too.

Man, tinnitus is so complex... I don’t know.
Perhaps try no sound machine... do an experiment.
Slow and steady... your wife sounds smart... she may be onto something.
      Good luck.

I still have no idea if it's a good sign, bad sign, or just how it is. It did all improve a bit from before but it seems that the improving may have stopped or slowed down. I'm really not sure..

Thank you so much, brother. I am a little optimistic too. I also think the change is a good sign, perhaps the beeps were part of the super loud noise I had before but are now weakening. I sure will take care of them, I've learned my lesson.

Hi Chris, how has your improvement been over the past couple months?
A lot of what you said is similar to what I've been experiencing, i have tinnitus since Nov 3rd, 2019... a clean tone in both ears and strange digital transmission type fast beeping sounds that seem to occasionally go and come back. but the ringing is constant except that it has seemed to maybe get quieter in the past few weeks, but still most certainly there.

I got an experimental shot that reversed whatever natural improvement I might have been having. Lately it seems like it's calmed down a little and going back to where it was before the shot but still not there yet.

OTO-313. I haven't confirmed if I got the real thing or not yet, but just in case stay away from it. If anything I would recommend Neuromod's Lenire.

Can you get Lenire in the US?

I wonder also if it was from the shot? They had to inject it through your ear drum right? I hear that can cause more ringing, like I have a friend who ruptured an ear drum that caused ringing in her ears for months.

I heard the University of Michigan (Dr. Susan Shore) has an approach called targeted bimodal auditory-somatosensory stimulation.

I also recently heard of Julian Cowan Hill who has very nice videos:

I wouldn't trust that Julian guy.

Lenire isn't FDA approved yet but we can go over there and bring it back.

Yes the University of Michigan should have results around mid 2020 with possible commercialization later the same year.

Why wouldn't you trust Julian Cowan Hill? He at least has some positive things to say.

I hear too many mixed things about him and others like him. A few people on Tinnitus Talk absolutely hate him, and have begun compiling lists of people that feel scammed by people like him.

Personally I just don't listen to any of what guys like Julian Cowan Hill have to say. There's nothing they could say that I don't already know.
