      Tinnitus Since:
      2012
      Cause of Tinnitus:
Who knows? I have Patulous ET and ETD + Other things
When I tap beneath my ear at the angle of the jaw, I can feel it as if I'm tapping my ear drum directly.

I've had an MRI and Tympanometry test both clear apparently. Even though I struggle with pressure changes in the tinnitus ear and well as cracking when I swallow and mucus feeling in my ET.

I have a bruit and a goitre on the right side of my neck. And have a whooshing sound of my heartbeat in right ear when I lay on my left, get up quickly or move my head left. Just thinking if an artery is pressed against my Eustachian tube or something...

My tinnitus is a hissing sound, with occasional high pitched spasms, if I get wind in the ear from driving with the window down or hairdryer gets in the ear canal, I develop temporary pulsatile tinnitus.

Has anyone had a similar experience or can offer any knowledge on the clues of tapping on neck and feeling it in my ear?
