High there im Paul and iv had mild tinnitus, for fifteen years but over the last two weeks it has doubled in sound
making my life hell and not worth living, when i had it mild, i would drink a bottle of wine before going to bed, and once my head hit the pillow the tinnitus would disappear.and i would have a good nights sleep .
Now its a bottle and a half , the doctor will not give me sleeping tablets , has any one found a way of sleeping

A warm welcome to Tinnitus Talk forums.
Drinking wine won't help if you drink to much of it .
Try a long soak in the bath and a milky drink.
Sound therapy can help too ,set below your tinnitus sound played through pillow speakers.
Melatonin can help also to relax you.
Stay calm and relax as tinnitus will seem louder .
We can all help you more when post on the main forum and we can go more in to detail to support you.
Ask any questions and we will all be glad to help.....lots of love glynis
