Hi All,
New guy here just wanted to introduce myself. American male 58 yo, had an idea that I had hearing loss but never had it checked. Younger years of loud music, shooting, and operating power equipment took it's toll on my ears. Had to have a pre-employment physical recently along with a hearing test, and guess what I have high frequency hearing loss. Over the years I have had ringing in my ears but never thought anything because it would come and go.

Now I have developed full time tinnitus (oh boy). Yesterday I got a set of HA's. Noticed a difference right off in my hearing and now I am hoping that in the next couple of weeks this will knock down my ringing also. I am lucky that my ringing is not as bad as some here,and I do feel for all of you suffering.

Thank you. Yeah that was my baby, a Bedlington Terrier named Flip. Had to re-home a few years ago due to circumstances beyond my control. Do miss him though.
