I can't remember, google it. I went to an acupunturist who was Chinese and an alternative doctor who was also Chinese and they both said that according to Chinese medicine a stressed liver could either cause or irritate tinnitus. I can't remember, it was awhile ago. After spending thousands of dollars on both of the above doctors tinnitus still remains. That said we all know tinnitus is different for all of us so while none of their remedies helped me they might you.

tinnitus or not, this level of lipids can kill you, so I strongly suggest a diet. Just by curiosity : are you overweight ? Have you tested the liver enzyms ?

My liver has a layer of fat.

High lipids = thick blood, which indeed will create T with some people ( I guess that's why the first thing docs give, since they have nothing else, are vasodilatateurs and to some it brings relief. . Apart from diet you can take some herbal drugs to help your liver work better and filter blood better. You shouldn't weight more than 70 kg with this height...internet is full of advice on helping the liver get back to health after it's been massacered by industrial food and sugar and stuff..
