A few days a go suddenly my left ear felt numb/full and I started to hear a high pitched sound that pulses every second or so, I went to bed that night and once I woke up my ear didn't feel full but the high pitched sound was still there, as of now however it seems that the high pitched sound is in both ears, I've had a soft ringing for many years now but this is the first time something like this happened,

I don't know if it means anything but I don't hear it when I wake up.

I'm gonna schedule an appointment with an audiologist soon, and was wondering if anyone has had an experience similar to mine.

Have you been to an ENT/Audiologist yet? Also does it seem better after you get out of the shower?

Yep no help. It doesn't change much for me getting out of the shower.
