How Lower Ringing or Humming Can Be Masked?

I usually have high ringing that is easily covered by white noise etc, but what noise works best for lower humming or ringing? Having spike right now and my ears went crazy, I'm just hoping that tomorrow I only have that normal ringing that I have used to...

If you have a tv try keepin it on maybe.. What i do is even tho my t is barely audible as soon as i come home from work or where ever i turn my tv on right away and it works but then i get my mom bitching bout the cable bill lol
