Sorry if this is a repeat, but is this safe to take every now and then or is it ototoxic even taking it once? Thanks

Once I awhile is unlikely to cause permanent issues. May see a spike for a few days though. But, everyone is different.

For my chronic pain, I took this for two days - Hydrocodone 10/325 once every six hours.

It completely destroyed my stomach. My wife reported hearing gurgling sounds but I didn't think much about it until a couple of days later. My heart ended up pounding as well so I discontinued that and the Gabapentin for like five days. My pain spiked and now I'm back on Gaba.

I will say this for Hydrocodone...You could care less about the Tinnitus if you're completely loopy and out of it. It didn't lower or alter the volume or anything. I just didn't care about it at all.
