      I have doubts...

Can hyperacusis be improved? What is the best thing to do? Silence? Exposed to moderate sounds? Pink or purple noise?

What has helped you? Tell me please.

Anyone who had constant pain and now it's all gone, give me your strategy.

Listen to the signals given to you by your own body. If you feel better after being exposed to moderate noises (and your H or T doesn't spike), then this would be ok for you. If the noise causes discomfort or even spikes, then it makes sense to stay away from that noise.

The doctors can't help us with tinnitus and hyperacusis. However, the above doesn't sound like tinnitus or hyperacusis. Have you tried asking an ENT for help?!

Acoustic Trauma, kind of like a bruise.

Hyperacusis in 90% of time gets better, but sometimes sadly it remains permanent. Have Sound Machine on when you sleep at night, set it below the tinnitus. I am still dealing with hyperacusis from my second acoustic trauma that I got in January.

Yes like a bruise feeling... I feel very traumatic. The t it's really loud. I used to have t before this but it was low and more like cricket.

When I had my first acoustic trauma I had no hyperacusis.
My ENT or Audiologist didnt believe I had a acoustic trauma but tumor, blood cancer, thyroid cancer, meniere, cochlear hydrops, so my eNT wanted me to do a ear irrigation and vemp test which was loud as hell. From then my T doubled in volume from a 4 to 8, and I got hyperacusis on my left ear and severe hyperacusis on my right ear. Talking or laughing hurts my ears, whether I laugh or talk, whether other people. It has not gotten better. I dont get burning pain but a stabbing pain in both ears.
Before T and H began I would get cool feelings, like water dripping in the ear. on September 22 (evening) and Jan 15 (evening). T and H have not gotten better, 0 improvement sadly, but in your case it might improve since you are still early into this, and you haven't had multiple traumas caused.

That's exactly it. I am still dealing with it and it has been what 8 months so far and almost entering 9 month with Severe T and H. I use sound machine on at night and set it below my T. Oh How I wish I can go back to October 2017 when I had mild T and ho hyperacusis :( :(
BE careful now and do not do any loud ear tests. I have learned my lesson for all times.

To answer the question in the title. It depends. Everyone is different. Some poeple have instant pain, some people have constant pain. Some people don't have pain but instead they have loudness hyperacusis. Then there is people like myself who have had both instant pain and loudness hyperacusis. Now my pain hyperacusis has gone away. I only have loudness hyperacusis but it's extremely mild.
