Hi everyone. Lying here trying to sleep and just realized I really miss the sound of silence and just had a lightbulb go off that I will not be hearing silence again.

      The thought made me cry.

I’ve spent the better part of my 57 years living with tinnitus. It was never a challenge until for some reason it's becoming a challenge the past couple years.

Now it’s much louder all the time and is super loud when I get overtired.
I’d like to be prepared. How much worse can this get?
Not looking for remedies. Just others experiences with this.

Welcome to the forum. You are like an old soldier on tinnitus. Is there a possible cause to your spike lately?
