After going to Acupuncture, I’ve noticed that voices don’t bother me as much as they did, I’ve also noticed that I can listen to music louder than usual in the car. And also my TTTS isn’t bothering me at all, only when it’s super quite and there’s people talking.

For the people that got better off Hyperacusis and TTTS, did your symptoms fade away slowly like this??

I don’t want to jinx myself but I feel like I’m getting better. I’ve had Hyperacusis and TTTS for about 5 months.

Most cases of H will improve and it will usually go very slowly, often taking months to years. Sometimes so slowly that you don't notice the improvements much on a daily or weekly basis. If you have had it for only 5 months and are already noticing improvement, that is a good sign. I think you will continue to improve.

@Adriel93 if acupuncture is helping, keep doing it.

In about 1,5 year I went from pretty bad hyperacusis to only a mild sound sensitivity to certain high-frequency sounds and impact sounds. I continue to desensitize my auditory system with pink noise and sound exposure, and assuming I keep progressing at the same pace I hope to be entirely rid of it within 2 / 2,5 years.

Most recovery stories are somewhere between 5 months to 5 years from onset of symptoms to an (almost) complete recovery, so it's hard to say how fast you will improve. The only general conclusion that I can make on the basis of the stories I dove into and the research I've read, is that H will usually improve with time and treatment, and the generally it is quite slow to improve. Patience and persistence really is key.
