      DB,

I've been using Vinpo for months and I take 10mg, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I definately noticed my T softens for many hours after ingestion. Take with food, for full absorption.

      Nice post btw.

      Lynn,

      Have you tried Vinpo?

4th of July in Florida, is like the D-Day invasion in Europe. Rednecks like their beer and explosives.

Cavinton (vinpocetion) worked for me, delivered intravenous when i was hospitalised after I was diagnosed with T. For 3-4 hours after the that my T was literally 0-0,5/10. Pills didnt had that effect. Maybe they lowered it, but I am not even sure.

Intravenous only in the hospital. Its not very practical for daily use. I took pills for 4 months, but the effect was questionable. The pills were part of a therapy with other stuff, vitamin b complex and such, prescribed to me by a otoneurlogist.

Well, it worked in one circumstance but not in another.

I think intravenous delivery of the drugs is more efficient, than taking pills. This is my theory, why it worked better.

I found this excerpt on WEBMD when searching for stuff about vinpocetine.
      • Ringing in the ears (tinnitus). Some early research suggests that giving vinpocetine by mouth and intravenously (by IV) along with physiotherapy might reduce ringing in the ears. However, giving vinpocetine by IV appears to be less effective than the drug nicergoline in reducing ringing in the ears caused by intense sound.
Found the comment about nicergoline quite interesting, so has anyone had any experience and/or success (mild or otherwise) with these?

Link to where I found this: http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-suppl...edientid=175&activeingredientname=vinpocetine

I've taken lion's mane on and off for a while; doesn't do anything to my T; does seem to improve my visual acuity, though.

Dosage recommendation for Vinpocetine? I wouldn't mind trying it.

From what I understand you should take 10mg doses thrice daily instead of a single 30 MG dose

When I went to an apparently very famous ENT 10 days ago and asked about Vinpocetine; she told me it doesn't work. ' But people claim it does!', I said. ' But I believe the research which says it doesn't' ;) and she refused to prescribe it. I so thought it's available online.

My experience was that it doesn't work at all, your mileage may vary.

Vinpocetine did nothing I could identify to me at all, I took 20-30mg/day for a while.

Lion's Mane didn't affect my T. It does improve my vision...
