Lots of Musicians Are Sufferers of Tinnitus — Phil Collins Is One

Many, many musicians have tinnitus: Ozzy, Chris Martin (Coldplay), Will.I.Am, and the list goes on and on and on. Similarly, there is likely a huge list of musicians who have tinnitus that have not gone public with it.

Speaking of Phil Collins, he suffered a fall recently and is in the hospital. Hope he recovers quickly.

 

No doubt it came out of a good intention, but I personally feel the cartoon is a bit maladroit in the sense that it turns T, a serious condition, into something to make fun of.
When you know it recently pushed another drummer to commit suicide, the fun part of it is a bit lost on me.

It could be that snideness leads to confusion.

 

If anyone happens to be friends with a musician suffering from the big T, I'd be interested in having them review my product.
