      Lexapro
      I tapered off Lexapro (SSRI) in March 2107. 3 days after the last dose the buzzing started. It doesn’t seem like it is in my ears but it somehow must be because I can hear it. I feel like I can feel it and hear it. It feels like an electrical wave in the center/base of my brain. Yet I hear a metallic like buzzing / cracklings. It is almost a year now. It doesn’t go away. Almost like an electrical wave is pulsing in my head.

      Never had this before taking Lexapro nor while on the Lexapro. It started when I stopped. I’m still alive after nearly a year of this so I’m hoping it is benign. Also praying and hoping it will go away.

      I’m also very sensitive to some noises. Like when I dump the recyclables int the bin. The sound of glass and metal almost hurts.

      @Mell,
      Coming down off meds like antidepressants can cause missfiring signals in your brain.
      It should settle over time but see your doctor to get checked out.
      Love glynis

      I have exactly this after stopping taking Zopiclone, which was now 3 weeks ago.
