My mom is going to be 84 years old. For the past two years she has had a crackling in her right ear that comes and goes in LOUD clusters and this has been very intense and overwhelming.

Last year we found a surgeon that said middle ear resectioning has helped with some patients so we went with that. IT WAS A MIRACLE!! It helped!! That was in August 2019... she’s recently had a bad cold with stuffy nose and it triggered the crackling WITH A VENGEANCE! Now it's coming every 23 seconds and lasts 10 seconds... she’s lost her quality of life. She has to hold onto walls as she walks because when that crackling comes it’s so loud it throws her off. What bad timing especially with the COVID-19 and only being able to food shop for her as she lives alone and I can’t take care of her the way I want to without risk of possibly unknowingly transmitting the virus to her.

Praying for answers - stay healthy all ❤️
