My ear doctor gave me prednisone saying it would relax the hair cells in ear

      not sure how good this works seems my incident last month i can hear the inside of my ear and sound is off does not seem the same so i was given prednisone to help relax hair cells any one know if this drug is good and relief from it he said it might relax hair cells not sure why but any help would be good

      Prednisone is a powerful steroid which can heal a lot of things. This type of drug isn't something that should be taken long term. Usually doctors write a prescription for only 3 days.

      My doctor gave me predisone when I first complained about tinnitus. It didn't cure me.
