My Name Is Steve, New Here...

I am new here, did not want to join a group like this but need support now. Tinnitus for last 2 months, both ears, > left, probably triggered by blood pressure/blood pressure medication changes, history of migraine, which caused lots of anxiety, stress over the last several months. Taking multiple supplements, eat perfect, positive affirmations, started Cog, therapy too... NO changes to date! Hard to nap or sleep due to high pitched hissing/ring sound.

Today not good day. Trying to ignore and habituate it and not give it power. I understand that my brain was in so much flight it has not shut off, still sending signals to vestibule portion of brain, need to send less signals and will occur in time when body knows it is safe or when body feels healed.....

Anyway, thank you all, looking forward to learning and sharing...

Hello there, I'm Contrast and welcome to the forum! If you don't mind answering these questions can help find the cause of your tinnitus.

Do you have a history of noise exposure, loud music, noisy cars, venues?

Do you have a history of neck/jaw problems like TMD?

Do you suspect certain medications?

1. Yes hx of being in band when younger, drummer.
2. no hx of ortho
3. tried 4 different BP pills over a 3 month period, changed due to spikes in BP, and due to the stress of the med changes and spikes, some family stress, got super anxious from this, which I think triggered this T about 2 months ago...
