Hey everyone,I'll make this quick so not to bore anyone.

I had no choice but to go to the dentist a week ago to remove a tooth that was killing me with pain. She used as little drilling as possible but my god was it high pitched.I tried wearing earmuffs and plugs but they made it ten times worse so had to finish the procedure without them.Anyway it's been a week or so since and for that week I went out shopping and mostly just sat in playing my Xbox.Anytime I did leave the house I wore earmuffs but even so it's all caught up with me and my T and H are absolutely unbearable the last two days.I'm in such s bad way right now I truly am but I kept a bottle of DeltaCortril(Steroids)just in case something like this happened.
Is it safe to take these? Are they Ototoxic and what were people's experiences with steroids?

      Thanks in advance.

The spike could be from jaw inflamation after removal of your tooth as can inflame your jaw joint and spike tinnitus .
I would not take any steroids without doctors advice .
Try heat or cold pack on your jaw joint
      ..lots of love glynis

My jaw and tooth have fully healed Glynis,it just started randomly yesterday and it's unbearable.I don't think it's related to the jaw as it's completely fine, but I will contact my doctor tomorrow about the steroids.
      Thanks.

I tried the ear-muffs too, but bone conduction put paid to that idea. I just tough it out now.

Steroids are generally not known to be ototoxic.
