Hey guys, as i said a few days ago my tinnitus remains pretty much calmed.
      and doesnt bother me...

tinnitus still remains very quiet right now.

      BUT...

      this is what scares me....

i was feeling a little bit weird today...
then a friend called me, and of course i putted my iphone on my right good ear.
and i could listen pretty well, BUT
i heard a very minimal super mild distortion in the voice of my friend (like if she was a bit robotic)
then i switched my phone to my "bad ear" and i could hear so my friend just fine without the distortion
      wtf? :(

after that called i was a little shocked and i decided to check if i have tinnitus
in my good ear... the right one, and yes it has a noise... u___u

the pitch is totally differnt and not so strong.

so i guess now i have bi lateral tinnitus.

having tinnitus in my good ear doesnt scare me...
what scares me is this mild distortion, and wondering if it could get worst

i wanna know who else have had it,
if it could go away, im trying to remain calmed, and keep my mind busy

please help me a little bit trying to understand this.

what kind of distortion did you have?
      voices soundes metallic?

i could listen my voice pretty well. but when i putted my phone next my ear, my friends voice sounded a little robotic.
and when i switched my phone to other ear, it sounded normal D:

Sounds like something may have been off with your tensor tympani muscle (very mild case of tonic tensor tympani syndrome) and it was getting too tight. That would explain the fluttering if it is contracting. When it does that it can make sounds sound robotic because it alters the way sounds get passed from the middle ear bones to the inner ear.

This is usually an anxiety based condition but can be associated with previous noise damage and T (in fact loud noises will often trigger the problem, or phone noises for that matter). You have both anxiety and possible noise damage because of your T (just a hair's worth), so you have the factors to develop problems with this muscle. Finding relaxation techniques may get the muscle to calm down and stop freaking out (meditation, for instance).

I would not worry about it as it is not the sign of anything more serious, generally. Middle ear myoclonus, a related condition, is very rare compared to this other condition (tonic tensor tympani syndrome). Just keep an eye on it.

During a spike, i decided to hop in a bath to relax. I noticed when i moved my hand through the water, i could hear a screaching metallic sound in sync with each time i moved. Fascinated me a little.

Sounds sometimes seem disorted. I get this randomly. Only lasts a short time so i just choose ignorance.

      thank you @DebInAustralia and @Coyotesheaven
what really shocked me is that it happend in my "good ear"
and i also had a temporal tinnitus in that ear.
but it went away in a few minutes, weird right?

My right ear is permanently distorted. Think 'Donald Duck'! You just get used to it, though I now NEVER put a phone to that ear.
