      Lewis Vaughan Jones suffered sudden hearing loss and tinnitus in one ear as a result of a cold - and is now wearing a hearing aid.

      Like many, he was self-conscious about it first, but now wants to show everyone he's wearing one.

      @Steve heard about this on the way to work today - things like this definitely add to the overall pool of awareness.

      Sorry for him. Tinnitus can hit anyone, for a lot of reasons. I'm glad that it didn't stop him!

      Flu, Noise-induced, Jaw trauma
      I did note from the interview that he was told he had tinnitus and it would never leave him. I thought that was a bit presumptuous, not giving any instruction that it may go.
