A doctor prescribed Nimesulide for me due to some headaches and possibly COVID-19. I tried the search bar here and found nothing, nor did I find anything online regarding Nimesulide causing tinnitus.

      But googling, I found this:

Otoprotective Effect of Nimesulide: Biochemical and Histopathologic Evaluation

What are your views and experiences on Nimesulide? I might need to take an anti-inflammatory and I wonder if this is a safe option tinnitus wise.

Ibuprofen is safe enough brother, I would worry more about the COVID-19.

Isn't Ibuprofen ototoxic and can cause a tinnitus onset? I like Aspirin but I was looking for a more safe profile tinnitus wise and then I found about Nimesulide.

About COVID-19, I wasn't infected afaik. Maybe I should check more about Ibuprofen.

Aspirin is way riskier than Ibuprofen IMO.

But if you think Nimesulide is better, give it a go. Although you'll probably have a harder time getting it prescribed because doctors are reluctant to be told what to do lmao.
