Non-Ototoxic Antibiotics?

I'm feeling unwell and have impacted wax which has an infection - I'm also having numbing pain/headaches and I feel so awful and weak

The GP prescribed clarithromycin antibiotics - I've read that they're ototoxic so I haven't taken them.

Question is I'm allergic to penicillin, therefore amoxicillin is out of the question - so what alternative is there that's not ototoxic as I can't risk damage to my ear?

Not to mention my other non infected ear is hearing weird distortions and everything's echoeing - and I'm using flixonase nasal spray for that as it might be my eustachian tube.
