Ototoxic Tinnitus — HBOT Advice Needed

I've read about HBOT, and am very interested in attempting it.

Is it only effective in relieving symptoms for people who suffer from acoustic trauma, or from ototoxicity as well?

I thought it would be effective for both as ototoxicity essentially damages hair cells just like acoustic trauma can, but I'm unsure.

Can someone with more knowledge on this please come forward and give me some much needed advice?
