      Hello,

I am wondering if someone from this forum has patulous eustachian tube on top of your regular tinnitus?

What are your main symptoms and how are you managing them?

      Thanks in advance.

      Warm regards,
      Albert

Thank you for your reply @Elmer B Fuddled.
I do not have the classic symptoms - autophony, aural fullness, or ear pain. But I randomly hear a slight tick on my ear when my foot strikes the ground. Even the doctors could not explain it to me.

Yeah well most drs. Or ENT can't explain much about any tinnitus that's how I was so damn lucky to acquire this wonderful feckin noise. Ear infection and eustachian tube infection

      Hello @GoatSheep!
Thank you for sharing the article. My first ENT doctor told me that I have a eustachian tube dysfunction and that the "tick" I hear randomly when my foot strikes the ground is because of the pressure. Few months after, I still have the symptom and he said that I should just ignore it.

Here's to hoping that our symptoms would eventually subside or resolve. The world of ENT has really lots of conundrums.

Can someone explain what this means? I've never heard of this before but ever since my tinnitus became loud and disturbing I also have clicking in my ear when my doors trikes the ground. I've been using Flonase for months thinking it's a sinus problem.
