Poll: What Do You Try First When You Get a Tinnitus Spike?

When you get a spike, what are the things you try first to make your tinnitus return back to baseline?

 

My life with tinnitus consists of good & bad days. I consider 2 or more bad days a spike. Unfortunately nothing helps.

 

I walk around my house or I go for a car ride with the radio on low. It helps me get past them.

I try to think back over the last 24 to 48 hours, and think about what I did to cause it. Often I can come up with some additional noise expsoure, and then try to eliminate it in the future and see if if helps. Slowly, through a process of elimination, the T gets better.

 

I try to think positive, the spike won’t last long and just try not to freak out.
