Really Feeling Bad

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Ear infection/sudden hearing loss
      Hello All. New here, but not new to tinnitus(2010). I used to have a lot of sounds all at once. My own personal symphony.

      About 2 weeks ago I felt like things were better. Thought I was turning the corner. But this past week, UGHHH.

      Tonight I can't sleep. I feel miserable. Beginning to feel depressed, like I can't take it anymore.:(

      If things felt like they were getting better, they can get better again but it takes hope and patience when it comes to tinnitus.

      Make sure you get enough sleep as lack of sleep can impact on your mood and it's so important to look after your mental health when having tinnitus.

      acoustic trauma
      dont worry, tinnitus is kinda like that. Your overall immune system plays a huge part in how your T seems. 8 years is a long time to have this condition though, maybe there was something you did differently which has caused it to seem better? might be an idea to write a diary every day about what you did, what you ate, how you slept etc and how your tinnitus is. maybe you will spot a trend that way. hang in there
