Ride in a Taxi with a Loud Exhaust (Possibly, a Pierced Muffler).

Last night I called myself a taxi to go to my mom. When I saw the car that came for me - I was shocked. It was an old collapsed car, but most importantly, it was that it looked like it was with a pierced muffler. As its engine made an unpleasant roar, uncharacteristic for conventional cars.

I rode for about 6 minutes. But when the taxi driver pressed the gas pedal, the roar intensified.

I caught a spike, either because of nerves, or because of the sound. Did you have a similar situation?
