Smoking — Does It Affect Your Tinnitus or Hyperacusis?

      Smoking does not seem to have any effect on my tinnitus whatsoever.

      Drugs barotrauma
      I started smoking when I got tinnitus, I am not sure if it has any effect as I haven't quit. Smoking less or more doesn't seems to make a difference.

      I know this is an old thread, but it's what I found when I looked it up.

      My hyperacusis and tinnitus have gotten worse since I quit vaping, 100% VG 3 mg. It's been exactly 4 weeks today. What's really worse is my reactive tinnitus, or hyperacuses to certain pitches. I don't know if vaping or nicotine was helping those. I'm going to say this is a transient thing and hold out for a while to see if things get normalized.

      I just wanted to share my experience.
