Some Support Please — Sometimes I Go Days with Silence, Then the Noise Starts Again

Sometimes I will go for days with silence that's really nice.

Then the noise starts from who knows why.

My right ear feels like its plugged up.

Am now taking an antihistamine and a nasal spray for congestion due to pollen.

It is helping but only to help reduce the noise.

Dr. can't find any build up of wax and ears are clean.

Good Lord some days it's ok, some it's madness

 

I thought you found a solution with Apple Cider Vinegar or did it happen later?

 

I have the same problem. The tinnitus comes and goes. Not sure if stress brings it on, or what.

 

Sometimes in one of my ears, the T seems like it's gone. However, if I plug the ears, I can hear it.

On a quiet day, if you want to test whether the T is truly gone, try wearing earplugs for 5 minutes. It may still be there, just fainter than on the other days.

 

If you need earplugs to hear the tinnitus than it is fading, and I would not go looking for it. Tinnitus can be louder due to stress and lack of sleep in my experience. If you have days without tinnitus, you are doing something right, and over times the days should increase. Be sure to protect from any additional noise damage.
