People in Staffordshire might have noticed over the last two years changes taken place regarding ENT clinics as some service's were moved to the community hospitals to take the load off the Main hospitals as were bursting at the seams to deal with everything.
That all went pair shape and made more problems regarding funding etc and in no time services went back to the main hospital making the time longer to be seen by ENT although once diagnosed with tinnitus you could then have direct access to Audiology and discharged from the ENT side of things.
I am waiting to be seen again by ENT at our main hospital.
Today I received a letter to say sorry for a delay in getting your ENT appointment as it is due to our new Community ENT provider to deliver routine ENT services from April 2018 and services will be delivered from convenient community locations.
We have tried minimise disruption while we transfer from one organisation to another.

Blinking heck it did not work the last time and it's happening again.....
So anyone from the Midlands might get the same changes...
      Love glynis x
