      Are you sensitive to sounds?

The Neural Dynamics and Hearing research team at the University of Aix-Marseille has recently developed a questionnaire to better understand the symptoms of auditory hypersensitivity (hyperacusis, tinnitus, ear pain as well as other very often associated symptoms (such as the feeling of clogged ears, hearing loss, etc.).

We are currently looking for anyone who has some form of hyperacusis and/or hypersensitivity to sounds with or without associate symptoms to fill in this questionnaire.

This survey takes about 20-30 minutes to fill out and contains 45 to 60 questions depending on your answers. It is not possible to complete the survey in multiple sessions (close the questionnaire and complete it at a later time), so it is important that you plan at least 30 minutes to fully complete the questionnaire in one sitting.

The questionnaire aims to better understand the:
      1. factors that can trigger hyperacusis, tinnitus and other otological symptoms understand the
      2. evolution of symptoms as well as the temporal links between them
      3. factors modulating the intensity and appearance of each of its symptoms
      4. predisposing factors to all of these symptoms
The recruitment period is now active and will be active until June 2020.

If you are interested in completing the questionnaire you can access the questionnaire by clicking on the link:
