My tinnitus is acting so weird lately. In the last 2 days ive had a spike probably due to heavy physical work, and on top of that my tinnitus free ear is starting some kind of noise as well. Or it just seems like it. Yesterday that ear popped out of no where, and i had very loud ringing, which disappeared after about half a minute (normal), but some kind of weird high pitched buzzing seems to have stayed behind. But it's very elusive.

But, suddenly my nights went silent. If I wake up in the middle of the night, there is no T. I dont think ive ever had that since this ordeal started earlier this year.

Kinda down about the first part, because I was actually starting to habituate slowly. I had hours where I barely heard my t, and now that it all changed, it's right there in the front of my mind again.

      Hi, Cor,

Please don't be discouraged by these changes in your tinnitus. I think most of us can say that we've experienced some changes, and it eventually goes back to baseline for most people.

It's great that you're experiencing silence during the night!! That is a very good sign, and I do believe you are still habituating. It is an up-and-down process, that's for sure. But don't be discouraged, and enjoy your quiet nights!!
Keep finding ways to distract yourself, and I think you'll continue to see progress in the right direction.

      Very best wishes,
      Karen
