On the internet in general and on this forum.

I'm trying to find some indicator of possible recovery or remission.

When aminoglycosides are concerned, there's always mention of permanent and irreversible damage.

But I had taken a small amount, and there isn't any measurable hearing loss, if any at all.

I had taken paromomycin, oral route.

And I don't know if anyone on this forum has experienced something similar.

My tinnitus seems to raise and lower, and change.

And it does respond to NAC, Xanax, Ibuprofen, etc. But for short periods of time.

If there's any improvement, it's so gradual that I do not notice it.

Has anyone ever come across any information regarding this?
