I am 14 years old, and have recently had 2 sinus infections. While my second one was ending, a ringing in my ear has started. I don't know what is causing this. I wasn't exposed to any particularly loud noise, so I don't think it is hearing loss. What could be causing it?

loud noise and very bad sickness
It's quite possible that the medicine they gave you for your infection, might have caused it. Also, when people get sinus infections, it can affect your ears quite a bit, so maybe see how you feel after your infection is gone..

      SSHL from virus
I have hearing loss from a virus. It's quite possible for a virus or infection to cause hearing problems. Who diagnosed you with a sinus infection? Did they check your ears for fluid? That's another possibility, too.

But like fishbone said, see how you feel once the infection is fully resolved. Maybe follow up with your initial doctor.
