      Hi,
I'm writing this message from Iran. I've been having tinnitus for about 3 years, I don't know the cause exactly. One day I saw a leaflet on the ground, advertising a traditional medicine center. On it, was common symptoms of tinnitus. One of them was jaw problem. Several months passed form that day and I had to to pull one of my teeth from left side of my mouth, where I didn't use that part for years because it hurt severely when in contact with water, food, chewing and etc.

After pulling, I started chewing with that part of my mouth, and also, I went further, and started jaw exercises, like moving it awkwardly side to side and .....

Now, I can almost say that it's gone. I just need more time.

I HOPE it helps, and give you a clue.

      Sorry for my imperfect English.

Looks like whenever someone doesn't know what had caused their T, the problems with the jaw are a likely cause.

Can you make that click like sound of jaw?
Open your jaw completely but to the right side (to your ringing ear, instead of dropping the jaw downward), and then try to close your mouth, near sideburns a bone clicks. That clicks makes T a little worse for two or three seconds, and then there is relief. In my situation.

My jaw doesnt click but crunches constantly. It's really annoying. And I clench it. No real pain but definite tension. and when its really tense to the point of shaking my T is worse that day.

What kind of jaw exercises? My left side is all messed up. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to help it.

I need to mention that one of my friends had the same problem but likely with another cause, and used an ear oil, made in Iran, prescribed by our awesome (treated me and my friends other problems) local traditional medicine doctor, 100% Natural, Chemical Preservative Free, And Artificial Coloring Free (on the box), and got a lot better. I thought saying this will give you another clue.

      1. Chewing a gum, with less used part
      2. saying oooouuuu like a chimpanzee, but to the side, not front, you can definitely not make the sound! (hahaha) and then try to put your focus on your chin and push it a little to that side.
      3. Again Chewing but without a gum, hitting back teeth together slowly

      you yourself can discover more.
