Tinnitus from PPI (Specifically — Lansoprazole)

      Hi,

      I wanted to know if anyone's tinnitus was caused or worsened by PPI medication?

      Antidepressants / Loud Sound Exposure
      Did you end up taking Lansoprazole? What was your experience? I am considering taking it.

      Tinnitus Since:
      1st mild (6/12/2015) mild-mod (3/5/2022)
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      HEADPHONES/TMJ/ETD/SINUSES/AMITRIPTYLINE one of them???
      I've taken Omeprazole (20 mg) many times in the past, sometimes twice a day, and it never affected me personally.

      Headphones without a doubt
      Yes, my tinnitus was caused by Omeprazole and Lansoprazole (I tried both). It appears to be permanent as I have not taken them for over a month and have had no improvement.
