Tinnitus Returned -.-

So I thought I got rid of this douche bag called tinnitus... Had a little over a month of COMPLETE silence.... My father died a few weeks ago and it was really fucking with me... Well this morning I opened my eyes and T was there... Now I feel almost as shit as I did when all this bullshit started. Can you guys smash positive words into my head please because I'm a mess.

Hey, anxiety always makes my T go up... Maybe you've kept it this whole time it just lowered to where you couldn't hear it at all, and then anxiety spiked it. If you've had no trauma or anything, trust me, it'll go down/away again.
How bad is it right now?

 

I took ginkgo and it went away. No physical trauma but I'm an emotional wreck as of late. I hope it does go away again... Its bad enough to keep me up. As I should been sleeping hours ago

 

So is the T mild right now?

 

Yeah its not giving me a headache just enough to keep me awake.

i think anxiety or depression bring it back, lets hope it settles down.
if it went away once it can go away again.

 

Ever since mine started over 2 years ago, it comes and goes, ranging from silence to screaming and everything in between. It used to be present about 95% of the time, but now it is probably around 50%. On average though, it is gone increasingly more often and I still hope that my brain will just about figure this out - even 2 years in.

Give it time...

Dude, so bummed about the loss of your Dad!! I lost my Dad last year. Sucks. And T fricking sucks!! I am on year four of gnarly 24/7 T. I have struggled, but my encouragement to you is I have gotten to the other side, and you will to dude!! Gotta et your sleep man, that makes all the difference. Try masking sounds/music, fans, whatever, just make sure you get your sleep! I know it's hard, believe me, I know. Stay connected here on TT bro. You got this kid!!

 

Does its go away 100% after?

 

Yeah my mom died when I was 15 now my pops... Life is a bitch. I pretty much habituated to it before... But I got used to silence again... And when I woke up to ringing I went in the shower and cried..feels like square one

 

Im so sorry for the loss of your dad.. And also that your tinnitus is back, i have been under a lot of stress lately which made me notice my timnitus more and its making me very anxious... Its been not even 3 weeks but its just hard to deal..

Hang in there man its not easy but be strong don't let this beat you....Its been little over 3 years for me and I have my ups and downs and I still sometimes cry for silence .....I just keep holding on to hope and keep myself busy ....Staying busy does really help ...Sorry about your father man stay strong.
