Tinnitus Worse After Cold Food

Once I've finished a cold drink or ice-cream, I notice that my tinnitus gets a lot worse. It eventually gets a little quieter after about an hour, but it's really weird.

Is anyone else aware of that experience happening to you?

 

No I haven't. Try to ignore this and in time you will probably not notice it. You have had tinnitus for a while. Unless there is an underlying medical problem causing this you should have habituated to your tinnitus by now. Even if tinnitus increases or spikes and then returns to baseline as you've indicated, it isn't usually of concern to someone that has habituated.

@Zopaz - I love very cold drinks and the only effect I get during drinking is brain freeze! It doesn't affect my tinnitus one bit afterward.
