So my ears were getting full and moving my jaw etc wasn't working so I forced a Valsalva Manoeuvre and my left ear popped but then felt way different.

It feels like empty and when I talk it's really weird, it's gotten a bit better for a few seconds but then goes back to how it is...

What do I do? This is driving me nuts and popping my ears more isn't changing anything.

Popping my ears is not helping and I'm so scared, I'm a musician. PLEASE HELP.

Get your ears checked (ENT, audiologist, etc) to start diagnosing your tinnitus.

An online page ain't gonna get you fixed! Find an ENT to see, that's your only option.

Try Sudafed or Steam inhalation and book in to see your doctor while waiting to see ENT.

There's a number of people here who avoid this maneuver because they feel like it doesn't help at all or in fact only makes the ear more clogged. There has been some threads on this subject before.

How long has it been since you did the maneuver? If this is day one I can tell you that it will most likely go away within the next three days, that is unless you have a lot of fluid in your ears or completely blocked Eustachian tubes.

There's really not much you can do about it on your own. You should see an ENT. Avoid doing the Valsalva, at least for now.

I've had tinnitus for a year and been doing this maneuver for a while, overnight the pressure went down a little but my voice still sounds weird when I talk and I think I still have hearing loss.

Somewhat, not echoing though, and just in the left ear where the valsalva blew too hard

Hmh, could be fluid in the middle ear. You should see an ENT.

Sounds like an issue with your ear tubes.

Maybe Patulous Eustachian Tube? Those who have that hear their voice in their head like a bucket effect.

It's not echoing really, just can't hear my voice through one ear.

I chew carrots or celery to get it unblocked or have a spicy Thai soup...

Careful with your jaw with too much chewing though...
